Leon

Leon's talent as a singer and songwriter first shone through in 2005, when he emerged as one of the top 12 contestants out of over 4,000 participants in Singapore's first televised Mandarin singing competition, "Project Superstar Season 1". Since then, he has made a name for himself in the local music scene and beyond.

In 2007, Leon released his first original song, "Give Me My Life", which was featured in the compilation album "ARC Genesis". He also gained recognition as the singer of "男人香水/Man's Perfume", one of the top 12 songs in the televised song composition competition "S-POP Hurray", with JJ Lin as Ambassador.

Leon's musical talents have also been sought after by renowned directors. He composed, arranged, and mixed the instrumentals for Singaporean director Jack Neo's first English drama "Happily Ever After" in 2009. He was also approached by director Huang Yi Liang to compose a ballad titled "烟花" for his debut movie "午夜烟花" in 2007.

Leon has had the honor of performing with and for some of the biggest names in the industry. In 2011, he sang as a backing vocalist for international star Wang Lee Hom in his "Open Fire!" World Tour in front of over 70,000 people. He also toured as a backing vocalist with JJ Lin for his "TimeLine" World Tour from 2013 to 2016.

Besides singing, Leon also has a gift for hosting events. He is known for his engaging and humorous emcee style, and has hosted events ranging from showroom openings to weddings and Chinese New Year celebrations. He has also performed as a supporting vocalist for local Xin Yao concerts and for Singaporean singer Kit Chan's "Spellbound" concert in 2015.

In 2018, Leon was one of the featured performers in the ticket concert "An Evening with Xin Yao 2 新谣之夜二", which showcased an ensemble of 100 musicians from Singapore Chinese Orchestra & Vocal Associates Festival Choruses. The concert has since been uploaded on Facebook and has garnered over 6,000 views.
